College Artwork

All of this work was created during my Freshman year while attending Rocky Mountain College of

Art and Design (RMCAD). The first gallery is work done in my first semester classes in my Visual

Design 1 and Drawing 1 classes. The second gallery is work done in my second semester classes in my

Drawing 2, Intro to Painting, and Life Drawing 1 classes.  They are placed in chronological order except the Life Drawing pictures which are placed out of order.  I apologize for some of the pictures that downloaded side-ways.  I was not able to correct them.  Enjoy.

Title: Still Life of Matthew Davinroy-This drawing is a still life of my ipod, harmonica, and A&D Ointment.  The assignment was to gather three objects that signified me.  One of the objects had to be completely wrapped, one had to be half-wrapped, and the last had to be unwrapped.  I picked the Ipod and harmonica to signify the importance of listening and making music to me.  The A&D is the object that is completely wrapped.  It is an ointment that is applied to new tattoos to keep them fresh and my tattoos and tattooing are very important to me.  A detail image is below.  This drawing was done in my Drawing 2 class.
