We had to make a picture look like it was a painting, and I did two drafts of this.  The work is all hand drawn by me, and I painted it in Adobe Illustrator.  I then wanted to test to see how it would look on two different backgrounds.  One with a blank background and one placed on top of a painting canvas to give it the textured feel of a painting.  This is the one with the canvas.

We had to choose a children's nursery rhyme or story, then we had to model the character out of clay, and then make them into an illustration.  I went with Simple Simon because I knew the first and second parts fairly well, and was happily surprised to rediscover the third part.

I have been a an of Arizona Tea, so I figured I would do an ad for it.  I had to work the text a bit to try to get it to look like that text on the can, but I think it worked out.  I had to work on the woamna bit to fix one of her arms, and I like how it aturned out.
