In the creation of this drawing, I aimed to believably portray something out of the ordinary. By using a fixed light source and individualized detail such as the crest on his jacket and the bicycle wheel, the dog wearing human clothes fits cozily in. The assignment was to draw something 18"x24" or larger.

This tiara, imposing yet feminine, is made of steel nails, a silvered headband, and copper wire. The Visual Design 2 assignment was to create jewlery using hardware materials.

Vectored Self Portrait , 2009

Creation of a self portrait using the pen tool in Illustrator was an eye opening assignment in Digital Image Making. A tremendous amount of time goes into creating digital art of this type, and I could easily continue working on this piece, making it more detailed. The file type of the original project also has qualities that other lack; because the hand drawn points and colors are mathematically mapped in relation to each other, the enlarged image will never pixelate.

Creation of a self portrait using the pen tool in Illustrator was an eye opening assignment in Digital Image Making.
