In the creation of this drawing, I aimed to believably portray something out of the ordinary. By using a fixed light source and individualized detail such as the crest on his jacket and the bicycle wheel, the dog wearing human clothes fits cozily in. The assignment was to draw something 18"x24" or larger.

Masking Tape Loungewear, 2009
Tinted masking tape, size 9
In Visual Design 2 class, I recreated a slipper of mine using ONLY masking tape. Its structure is startlingly secure considering the material used, but is transformed in that it is lightweight and less dense than the original slipper. It fits me perfectly, but the piece functions as humorous ornament; it’s not quite strong enough to hike in!
